Spotlight on Pluto and Ally Treatery

IN 2021 PAWS AT THE PARK IS CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF OUR GOLD COAST DOG MARKETS! TO CELEBRATE, WE’RE HIGHLIGHTING SOME OF THE SMALL DOG BUSINESSES THAT HAVE BEEN WITH US FROM THE EARLY DAYS.

Pluto and Ally Treatery believe in treats with a purpose

Pluto & Ally Treatery handcraft healthy and delicious dog and cat treats using only the highest quality ingredients to ensure you are adding nutrition to your pets bowl. When they applied for a stall at Paws at the Park we absolutely loved their signature heart treats and just had to have them at our dog market!

Why did you decide to have a stall at Paws at the Park?

We first attended Paws at the Park in 2018 because we loved attending as customers with our dogs since the very start, and seeing how much joy it created for dogs and dog lovers. There were no other dog events of this calibre! When we started Pluto and Ally Treatery we knew we had to be part of this event!

Last but not least, tell us about your own doggos!

We have two wonderful rescue greyhounds, Pluto and Ally. Ally is an Animal Welfare League QLD rescue that has been with us for 6 years, now 9 years old. She is everything you’d expect of a greyhound, quiet and calm (most of the time) and beautiful natured!

Pluto is now 6 years old and despite numerous health issues, nothing will stop him! Our dogs LOVE coming along to Paws at the Park and being spoilt at so many of the stalls. They are our inspiration and the reason we started Pluto and Ally Treatery.

Be sure to visit Pluto and Ally Treatery at our next dog markets!

You've been a regular stallholder the last few years - what do you love about the event?

Paws at the Park is more than just a dog market, it’s an event! It’s a place for dog lovers to meet and learn about all things dog related, from nutrition to behavioural training. We love that it gives us an opportunity to meet our amazing customers and their gorgeous dogs and the other lovely local stallholders that are part of the dog community. There is such a great vibe on the day!

Do you have a stand out memory from any event you've attended?

We attended our first event at Cleveland where we had our doggie treat buffet set up for all the dogs to try our treats. We thought we had plenty of treats to give away but halfway into the day we had 2 massive Great Danes tower over our tables and clear out the entire tasting buffet in one go, leaving behind a trail of slobber!

Their mum was very apologetic but we couldn’t stop laughing at the beautiful dogs and feeling very honoured that they gave all of our treats their lick of approval.

What do you love about meeting your customers at PATP?

We love the chance to meet our customers in person. We spend so much time taking to our customers online about their dogs so having the opportunity to finally meet their dog it just lovely.  We love seeing the passion for animal health and wellness which is why we started this journey.

Why should attendees visit your stall in August?

We would love for attendees to see us and talk to us about what treats their dog’s love and what they can and can’t have. We have a treat to suit every dog, even the fussiest, and we are here to help you find the perfect fit for your dog or cat. This year we have something a little bit different as we have recently introduced our enrichment range so come along and enjoy our very special Paws at the Park goodie bag. Oh and did we mention we have a doggie tasting buffet!?
